Long Lane is taking over Dunford House, the 1850s home of Richard Cobden outside Midhurst, with 55 acres of woodland and a regenerative farm around it. The plan is a club where health is the whole point: a gym and studio in the coach house, contrast therapies and a diagnostics-led clinic, a natural pool and spa garden, tennis and padel, woodland trails with saunas and fire pits, and a restaurant that cooks to your own tests.
There will be 19 rooms in the house and 10 cabins in the woods; a stay makes you a member for its length. Nothing is open yet: the date has slipped from spring 2026 to 2027, and the club takes a waiting list.
