About
Soho Farmhouse opened in 2015 at Great Tew, near Chipping Norton: 100 acres with 114 cabins and bedrooms, where you leave the car at the gate and cycle. There is a main barn, a Japanese restaurant, pizza in the Hay Barn, a spa and gym, an indoor and outdoor pool, and hot tubs in the lake.
Where Estelle Manor is a spa, this is a camp: riding, clay-pigeon shooting, tennis and padel.
What sets it apart
- Two ways in: a membership for the Farmhouse alone, or Every House, which adds the Houses in town and the 48 abroad
- Activity rather than spa: horses, shooting, tennis, padel, bicycles; outdoors rather than a bath house
